Manufacturing in the UK not only provides jobs in the UK but allows the company to be reactive and supply products that specifically meet the requirements of the UK market.

Manufacturing: Westholme Division

Sling development and manufacturing is carried out in Elland, West Yorkshire.

Prism offer a comprehensive range in a variety of designs and materials to allow safer and comfortable moving and handling.

The range has been carefully developed to provide slings that are suitable for most situations – they are the result of many years experience in assessments and working closely with the caregivers that use them.

A customised service is offered to provide a unique sling solution.

Manufacturing: Freeway Division

Hoist development and manufacture for the UK group of companies is based at St Asaph, North Wales. Manufacturing includes state of the art CNC production equipment – Freeway are true manufacturers not just assemblers.

The manufacture of shower chairs/stretchers is carried out at a second site in nearby Abergele. Products under the Freeway brand are sold via the Prism Medical UK divisions and via a national network of Prism dealers/agents.

Freeway products are also supplied to Europe and North America.
