Paediatric Study Day 2013Thursday 19th September at Grange Moor, Wakefield
Safer handling techniques benefit the child and the carer. The day will look at some techniques that will enable the safer moving and handling of children, in acute and home settings. Parents, carers and nursery works often see hoisting as a negative tool that will impact and delay a child’s motor development. Therefore it is always crucial that good handling is incorporated into the child’s handling plan.
We shall investigate simple and sensible methods of moving and handling children.
